State Examinations/Access to Teaching Positions
Current legislation states that in order to be allowed to exercise professions that correspond to their degree course, students are required to pass a state exam to be admitted to the profession. This exam takes place twice a year and the date is fixed by the Ministry for Universities and Research.
Graduates with a specialist degree or Master’s degree, or those with a degree obtained under the previous university system, can participate in public selection calls provided they have:
- 24 university credits in the fields of anthro-psycho-pedagogical training or other teaching methodologies (D.M. 616/2017);
- the required qualifications for the selection call they are applying for (All. A del D.M. 259/2017).
